Sunshine Blogger Award

Ola peeps!

I’m back from not having the internet connection for four freaking days! And also, the past week, I was really busy with school stuff that I only have time for my blog on weekends. So…

Anyway, first of all, I want to thank Mandy from Book Princess Reviews for nominating me on this award! Thank you so much Mandy! You, peeps, should check her blog out! It’s so cute with a lot of princesses!

Let’s start!

The Rules:

Thank the person who nominated you in a blog post and link back to their blog.
Answer the 11 questions sent by the person who nominated you.
Nominate 11 new blogs to receive the award and write then 11 new questions.
List the rules and display the Sunshine Blogger Award logo in your post and/or on your blog.

Let’s get to Mandy’s questions!

  • Favorite Disney Character

Well, that would be Baymax from Big Hero 6. I seriously love that doctor marshmallow! (Yes, I call him that. Hiro calls him walking marshmallow though. Haha!) I even have his famous line “Hello, I am Baymax. Your personal health care companion” as a message tone in my phone! I just love Baymax!

  • What can always make you laugh?

A lot of things can make me laugh and a lot I mean everything. Though I think the one thing that can always make me laugh no matter what situation I’m in are the green jokes. I know it’s weird but I just can’t help laughing when I hear a green joke. I am a weird specimen. Oh my gosh. xD

  • What is your favorite quote?

My favorite quote is from my all-time favorite anime, Fushigi Yuugi or Mysterious Play.

“It is not the gods who make wishes come true. It is human feelings and emotions that do.”

It was said by a character named Taitsukun on the last part of the last episode. I recommend that anime though. You peeps should check it out if you haven’t yet.

  • If you could have any animal in the world (or beyond) as a pet and you knew for sure that it wouldn’t eat you, what would it be?

This is easy, it would be Toothless! Or another Night Fury maybe so I won’t need to steal Toothless from Hiccup. But seriously, I want a pet dragon. I love dragons. They breathe fire, they fly, and they are really cute creature despite having a beastly form. I just find them cute.

I’m actually thinking of changing my blog name, well, not really changing it totally more like I just want to add a third word on my blog name. I was thinking between The Booknerd Mermaid or The Booknerd Dragon. Which is better? Please help. Let me know in the comments! 😀

  • What book do you wish that everyone could read?

I think it would be the Percy Jackson series but a lot of people have read that already so I maybe the 39 Clues Series. If you peeps don’t know what that is, you can find the details about it in one of my blog post, Book Recommendations for Non-Bookworm Friends. It’s in there and please check it out! The series is really good!

  • Coffee, tea…neither?

I don’t drink tea, sorry. I prefer coffee but I am not a hardcore coffee drinker like everyone else. I drink coffee only when I study, read during rainy days, and running late for school. And the coffee I drink have herbal medicines in it to help me cure whatever damaged cells I have in my body.

  • What authors are insta-buys for you?

I only have two insta-buy authors so far and I’m hoping it won’t grow into a very long list. xD My two insta-buy authors are Rick Riordan and J. Daniels. Though I haven’t read yet any of Rick’s adult books, I’ve read most of his books from Percy Jackson series to Magnus Chase to Apollo’s series and down to reading his book in the 39 Clues series. He’s actually the reason why I started reading 39 Clues series and basically just reading novel books. PJO series were the books that made me into reading international novel books.

  • How do you feel about classic books?

I’m going to be honest, I find them very boring in the beginning and then amazing around the end. Yeah. My first classic read was The Great Gatsby and it was my longest read. It took me around a month to finish it. Though it was a bit boring at the beginning, it left me hangover for days! I seriously didn’t expect experiencing a book hangover from it but I did for so many days and the reason it somehow stopped was when I created a review for it to let out all my rants. Thus giving birth of my book blogging hobby. Since then I learned not to judge a classic book with its beginning. 😀

  • What song is stuck in your head right this very minute?

Versace on the Floor by Bruno Mars. It’s been stuck in my head for weeks now.

  • And last but not least, what do you think your favorite book of 2017 will be?

Now this is a hard question. I couldn’t actually say what books. It’s really hard. I think I’m gonna get back to this question December this year. I will sure update this post. 😀

Again, thank you so much Mandy for nominating me. I had so much fun creating this post! So for my nominees…

And your questions are:

  • What is your favorite color? Why? 😀
  • Would you rather be smart or beautiful?
  • What is the most boring book you ever read?
  • Name one famous author with bestselling books that is not just your cup of jam.
  • If you could change nationality/race, what would it be? Why?
  • What language do you want to learn fluently? Choose only one.
  • You are given a chance to become a book jumper (nope, I haven’t read that book yet),what’s the first book you’ll jump into?
  • Give one to/or three frustrating things about being a reader/booknerd?
  • Do you play sport? What sport?
  • Would you rather be the author? Or the character?
  • Favorite movie of all time.

Thank you for reading up to here. Love you all!

  1. Okay, I was totally partial to The Booknerd Mermaid (clearly because of my Princess connections), but after seeing those gifs of Toothless, I am kind of partial to dragons now. He’s sooooo cute. :O I couldn’t stop watching him and cute little self. I also love your quote! I also have not seen Big Hero Six yet, but I have it waiting for me – and I think I’m going to need to do it super soon with your recommendation. Fantastic post and I loved reading your responses! 🙂

    1. Haha! Most of my friends suggested dragons too because they said it sounds not too feminine. And I am not feminine at all! 😀 And you should really watch Big Hero Six! You will laugh and cry and be amaze by it, I swear! And the quote inspires me sometimes, you know. And I totally recommend you watch the anime. 😀
