How are you all?
I know. It’s not June anymore and it’s more than halfway in the year but I want to post something in my blog for a while now and I have nothing to post because all the books I read are for pleasure and, honestly, I haven’t finished a book that is worth writing reviews in a while now. Haha!
So here’s a midyear freak out tag for you!

It’s the sequel of Balance and it’s a taboo book and I love it!
New release you haven’t read it but want to
I’ve bought this book during my educational field trip at Cebu last April. I want to read this because I’ve heard a lot of good reviews about this. I just have to finish my current reads so I can get to this one ASAP!
Most anticipated release for the second half of 2018
Well, those are the book that I’m really, really looking forward to reading.
Biggest disappointment
I’ve waited for so long for this book. When I finally had it, I was so excited to read it. But then when I read, bes, nothing happened. It felt rushed. The ending was so disappointing. I wasn’t satisfied of the end of this series, at all.
Biggest surprise
I didn’t really read a lot of reviews of this book and if I have read reviews, I couldn’t remember them. I went into this book blind, with no expectations. And I ended up loving it!
This book is my very first reverse-harem genre read. And I didn’t expect that this genre is a good one. Or maybe this particular series is just amazing. I love it!
Favorite new author (debut or new to you)
Marissa Meyer and Alex Lidell
They’re both good and got my interest at the first page of their books. I can’t wait to explore more of their works!
Newest Fictional Crush
That would be Jest from Heartless and Tye, Coal, River, and Shade from Power of Five. Yeah, I’m greedy.
Newest Favorite Fictional Character
Gwen! I love Gwen because I can relate to her so much in a lot of ways! Gosh!

Favorite book to film adaptation you saw this year
I have not watched a book to film adaptation this year, I think? I’m not sure but I can’t remember. If just watched this year regardless of the release date then that would be How to Train Your Dragon 2. I’ve re-watched in a couple of times this year. Hehe.
Favorite review you’re written so far
My review of this was long and precise as to why I love the book. Also, I kind of felt like my interacting way of writing went back while I was writing this review.
The most beautiful book you’ve bought or received so far this year
I’ve bought this book during my educational field trip in Cebu too. This is cover-wise most beautiful because I haven’t read this one yet.
