Title: Lord and Master Trilogy
Author: Kait Jagger
Date Publish: March 20th 2017
Goodreads Rating: 4.31
You think you know Luna Gregory?
Maybe you see what her boss, the Marchioness of Lionsbridge, sees: the best PA she’s ever had, a 26-year-old fixer who makes problems disappear with four quiet words—‘Leave it with me.’ Or you see a remote, untouchable Ice Princess who the 500-year-old Arborage Estate’s heir presumptive longs to crush under his heel. Possibly, if you’re looking carefully, you see Luna as her friends see her: the quiet one, touched by childhood tragedy, who laughs at their jokes and has their backs no matter what.
But ultimately it takes charismatic, devastatingly attractive Swedish entrepreneur Stefan Lundgren, third in line to inherit the estate, to glimpse the intelligent, fiercely independent woman under Luna’s calm exterior. And what he sees he wants, this woman in ten thousand who is meant for him, body writhing beneath his in the dark of night, her inner self slowly revealing itself to him. Or so he believes.
But Luna has built an entire life predicated on concealment, on maintaining control and hiding dark things in drawers. It will take the entirety of the Lord and Master trilogy, from the manicured gardens of Arborage, to the wilds of Shetland, to the streets of Stockholm, for her to step out of the shadows in the face of a new threat to Arborage.
You think you know Luna? You don’t.

Welcome to my stop of the Lord and Master Blog tour!
Let’s get started!
First off, because this is a trilogy book tour, I can’t tell you more about the books without spoiling you so aside from the synopsis given about them. So I apologize about that.
Now let’s talk about the characters of this trilogy. And let’s go first to our heroine.
Her name is Luna Greggory and she is an amazing P.A of the Marchioness at Arborage. Can I just say that Luna is badass in her own ways? Seriously she is. She’s sometimes called Ice Princess because she can look at you with cold eyes that could freeze even the boiling water! Okay that one sounds exaggerated but sometimes she really is cold. And I like her because she is strong and independent and doesn’t always submit to a man. Sometimes she dominates too. And she’s a natural when it comes to P.A jobs and she’s very professional too.
I can say that in all the erotica books I’ve read, Luna is the strongest woman I know who doesn’t submit immediately to the man and she also wants to take control from time to time.
And now let’s go to the hero.
His name is Stefan Lundgren. Okay. First impression of Stefan is he’s every bit a guy in most of the erotica books I’ve read in the physical department. And maybe a little bit in the personality but just a little bit. Stefan is a gorgeous man, I can say that. But he didn’t came out as an all-out dominant man in this book. I mean, I feel like Stefan is different from other erotic guys I know. He doesn’t have the alpha male issue, like you know, the need to always be the leader of the relationship. And I like him for it. It made him a realistic character that he knows that Luna is his girlfriend and not just his bed-mate or lover. And that he respects her. And I also love him because one of his weakness are baby lambs! It’s so adorable! I don’t know why I find Stefan Lundgren adorable with all his muscles and sex appeals but he is adorable to me especially when he sees baby lambs! 😀 I badly want to see him holding one. 😀
So now let’s go to the story!
I like how the story of this trilogy goes. I mean, sure this was put in the genre erotica because they have a lot of sex scenes but they are not always sex scenes. I can practically count the sex scenes with one hand (I think?). Maybe the reason why it’s put in the erotica is because their sex scenes involves tying ropes, ribbons, leather, and belts. Haha!
Anyway, I like the story because it actually has a story. (What?) I mean, some erotica books’ story revolves only on the couple of the book but this one, it revolves around other things. It talked about friends, work, responsibilities and a lot more. It didn’t feel like a self-centered kind of book. (Is there even that kind of book?)
Let’s go to the narration.
The trilogy has a third person point of view but it only narrates Luna’s side of the story. Though it was third person POV, it was still good that I sometimes forget that it’s not a first person. Because sometimes it felt like a first person POV.
The only issue I have with the narration though is it has a lot of describing. And I sometimes just skip them. Though it didn’t affect the whole story for me. Mostly I skip the part where the thing being described is the surrounding. (I always find it too much when I read two paragraphs of describing a place)
But other than that, it’s a good kind of narration. Easy to understand despite some terms being different from what I usually know because this book was set in Europe and there are terms that are different to them than the usual English language I know. For example, the term pee is the usual term I know but in this book it was wee, and the bathroom being loo, underwear/panties being knickers and a lot more. Again, those terms won’t be a hindrance in understanding the whole story of this trilogy. 😀
And as I was reading this I thought of giving it a 4 star rating because, like I said it has a story and I like it, however, because of some of Stefan’s (yes, him) actions, I thought of putting it a 3. And then he redeemed himself after a couple more chapters and then I’m back with 4 stars. And now I’ve made up my mind. 😀
So to wrap this up, this trilogy is great! You need to have the next book on standby when you read this because you just need to. Trust me, you will need it. If you bessies love to have some erotica read that has a story who doesn’t only revolve around the couple, this trilogy is perfect for you. I would highly recommend this.
That’s it for my Lord and Master review for the blog tour! What are your thoughts about this book? Let’s talk in the comments!
I live on a farm in Lancashire, England with my husband, four children, one dog and one cat. Like Luna Gregory, the lead character of the Lord and Master trilogy, I make my living as a personal assistant.
Thanks for reading up to here! Love you all!
